You are invited to the workshop/auditions for C&G’s new project, Bad Hamlet!

Friday, March 15th, 6-10 pm at Thymele Arts (5481 Santa Monica Blvd.)
March 17th, 5-9 pm at the Ruby Theatre at the Complex (6476 Santa Monica Blvd.)

THE PROJECT:
This July, Coin & Ghost will premiere Bad Hamlet, an interactive, irreverent, and inventive ensemble-devised theatre piece inspired by Hamlet.
TENTATIVE PRODUCTION TIMELINE:
- Rehearsals: June 17th-July 10th
- Tech: July 11th-July 18th
- Performances: July 19th-August 18

We will be working under Equity Showcase Code, and all actors will receive a stipend.
HOW TO AUDITION:
Please prepare 1-2 minutes of a soliloquy from Hamlet. When we send your audition confirmation, we’ll include a brief scene from the play for you to familiarize yourself with.
In addition to playing around with these texts, the audition will include group movement and other explorations. Please wear movement clothes and bring water, as well as a smartphone/camera.

Our project, “The Butler Did It,” was named RUNNER UP for the Invitational’s Grand Prize (as voted upon by a panel of immersive theatre and themed entertainment experts)! But as we like to say: we don’t do theatre for the awards — we do it exclusively for the money.
