Ocotillo Ranch

“Ocotillo Ranch”, helmed by UCLA alumnus Marguerite French, is a look at loneliness, purpose, and the human habit of pushing away what we most desire.

Ocotillo Ranch is an intimate story about two stubbornly independent women who find an uneasy friendship in a time of necessity. In donating to this film, you are championing work that is written, directed, and produced by women.

At the same time, you are bringing to the screen portraits of women from two often overlooked groups: the unhoused, and our elders. In this poignant examination of friendship and fear, Ocotillo Ranch examines the universality of loss, loneliness, and how human it is to push away the very thing we most want.
